My legal practice consists of advising corporate, non-profit and campaign clients on:
- federal and state campaign finance laws
- lobbying disclosure
- government ethics laws
- public official financial disclosure
- fundraising strategy
- campaign administration
- ballot access
- Election Day operations
- delegate selection rules
- advertising direct mail robo-call and other public communications compliance
- and political convention rules and operations.
I previously worked as legal counsel to the Committee on House Administration of the U.S. House of Representatives where I focused on issues such as HAVA implementation, election integrity, congressional ethics, and campaign finance. I worked at the Federal Election Commission as law clerk to Commissioner Michael E. Toner and at the DC law firm Caplin & Drysdale where I focused exclusively on campaign finance, election law and lobbying issues.
Full disclosure: I'm a huge Romney fan, and have been since I worked for NBC during the 2002 Salt Lake Olympics. I will probably post frequently on all things Mitt Romney.
