Ethics watchdog loses director

POLITICO.com: "In a move that signals trouble for the Office of Congressional Ethics, the independent board's staff director, Leo J. Wise, is leaving his job to join the office of the U.S. attorney in Maryland.

OCE's aggressive pursuit of findings against a wide range of lawmakers, including several members of the Congressional Black Caucus, ruffled feathers on Capitol Hill, where House members are unaccustomed to being judged by anyone but their colleagues."
